Southbound I-35 closed after wrong-way, head-on collision

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (KXAN) — A woman from Austin is in critical condition after a wrong-way crash with a semi-truck on Interstate 35 in New Braunfels.
According to New Braunfels Police, around 3:12 a.m. a car traveling northbound on the southbound side of I-35 crashed head-on with a semi-truck on the 4200 block. Southbound lanes of I-35 are closed while crews work to clear the debris in the road.
