Sonic employee shot during robbery

AUSTIN (KXAN)- Austin Police are investigating after an employee at a Northeast Austin Sonic was shot during a robbery Tuesday night. Police say the woman was closing up the restaurant on 1605 E. Parmer Lane when she was shot around 11:20 p.m. Austin-Travis County EMS says the woman’s injuries are serious but not life-threatening.
Police looked for 2 men suspected in the shooting and robbery but could not find them. APD says it is not sure if the men took any money from the restaurant. Det
