Smoking materials to blame in north Austin apartment fire

AUSTIN (KXAN) —  Six people are displaced after a two-alarm fire at a north Austin apartment complex Tuesday morning.
“Once again, improperly discarded smoking material has caused significant damage, this time at 3625 Duval Road,” a spokesman for the Austin Fire Department tweeted.
The call to the San Marin Apartments came in at 5:17 a.m. The fire was knocked down around 5:43 a.m., according to an AFD tweet. No one was hurt.
