Sleet, freezing rain and snow falling as Winter Weather Advisory continues

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Temperatures are hovering below freezing throughout the Hill Country, and hovering near freezing in the Austin Metro area. Northerly wind gusts are producing frigid wind chill temperatures in the 10s and 20s.
An upper-level storm system is sending light precipitation into our area through late this evening. Light rain showers are mixing with freezing rain, sleet and snow flurries in many areas. While we have not yet seen any reports of icy roadways, many surfaces including
