Silver Alert for Granite Shoals woman canceled

GRANITE SHOALS, Texas (KXAN) — A 68-year-old woman that was reported missing in Granite Shoals has been found and is currently being checked at the hospital.
Authorities issued a Silver Alert for her on Tuesday when she was last seen walking in the 2900 block of Valley East Lane — in a subdivision on the northeast shore of Lake LBJ — at 4:30 p.m.
The Granite Shoals Police Department said Elaine Banta has a cognitive impairment and her disappearance posed a threat to her health
