Shots fired in Northeast Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two people are recovering in the hospital after an overnight shooting in Northeast Austin. However, Austin police say they were not hit by the gunfire.
A man has a potentially life-threatening injuries after he was run over by a car following the shooting, according to Austin/Travis County EMS. Arriving medics also found a woman who overdosed on an unknown substance.
