Shooting reported on RR 12 in Dripping Springs

DRIPPING SPRINGS, Texas (KXAN) — Sheriff’s deputies are at the scene of a shooting in Dripping Springs, Wednesday evening.
The Hays County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting happened on Ranch Road 12 near Dripping Springs Elementary School, less than two miles north of the US 290 and RR 12 intersection.
Dale Whitaker with Dripping Springs ISD says, as a precaution, they brought students inside from the playground for about 15 minutes.
