SH 45 eastbound closed all day after driver falls asleep and crashes

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Eastbound South State Highway 45 is closed in southeast Travis County after a truck crash Monday morning. The Texas Department of Public Safety says the driver told police he fell asleep and the truck went off the road striking the sign bridge, which fell on top of a vehicle near State Highway 130.
The Texas Department of Transportation says south SH 45 will be closed in the eastbound direction all day while they work to repair the sign bridge. Drivers will be diverted
