Several injured in crash on SH 71 in southeastern Travis County

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) -- Several people were hurt in a crash in southeastern Travis County Monday afternoon, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.
ATCEMS posted on X at 12:44 p.m. that there was a crash involving a vehicle rescue in the 5200 block of East State Highway 71 westbound. That's near Garfield, southeast of Austin.
ATCEMS said one person was trapped. There were a total of five patients; one was in critical condition and the other four had serious but not life-threatening injurie
