Serial armed robbery suspect arrested

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department’s Robbery Unit is investigating a series of seven aggravated robberies of businesses in Austin over the past few days. Police released surveillance photos of the suspect Friday evening and he was later arrested.
According to APD, the individual was recognized by someone which led to the suspect being pulled over on a traffic stop and arrested. APD said additional information will be released either this weekend or on Monday.
