San Marcos church remembers fallen officer’s contribution

SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) — It was a somber Sunday morning at a San Marcos church after Officer Ken Copeland, who worked security at the church, was killed a week ago tomorrow.
“Officer Copeland was a big part of our church,” said Pastor Robin Steele, Promiseland Church. “He would come here on Sundays and offer security. He would go above and beyond the call of duty.”
