Rundberg hosting safe Trick or Treat event

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Halloween may not be until Monday but starting on Friday night Halloween will be in full force along Rundberg Lane between Lamar and Cameron as 24 businesses will hand out candy.
The idea is to offer a safe place for kids and their families to trick or treat. Businesses, schools, churches, and the community will come together to continue the conversation of keeping the streets safe. Eight Austin Police officers who provide community policing to this area every day will
