Roads dry out tonight leading to easier morning commute on Friday

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Temperatures warmed above freezing in most areas this afternoon and evening, allowing road conditions to improve. We still recommend caution on bridges and overpasses if you encounter any moisture on the road, as a few slick spots may remain. The Winter Weather Advisory was canceled at 5 p.m. as conditions improve.Thursday morning's commute brought icy conditions responsible for more than 40 crashes in Travis County alone, at least 13 of which were rollovers.
