Risk of severe late day storms continues through the weekend

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Be sure to stay weather aware over the next several days as our weather pattern brings Central Texas at least 3 more rounds of potential severe weather.Today starts quiet under mainly cloudy skies, but afternoon heat and sunshine will help another round of isolated storms to develop late day. The last outlook from the Storm Prediction Center has most areas along and west of I-35 under a slight risk (2 out of 5) for severe storms beginning late Friday afternoon through midnight.R
