Rep. Blake Fahrenthold’s name will not be on the ballot

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Republican Party of Texas has decided to remove Rep. Blake Farenthold’s name from the list of candidates vying for the nomination for Congressional District 27. Farenthold requested it be taken off after he announced he would not run for reelection following allegations of verbal and sexual harassment in his office.
