Record high possible today before winter air returns

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The day started mostly cloudy to overcast with high humidity off of southerly winds. Lows were in the upper 50s in some of the Hill Country to low to mid 60s for much of Central Texas. Both Camp Mabry and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport had lows of 66 which, at Camp Mabry, is 19° above normal.The clouds started clearing after 9 a.m. with the clearing expected to continue east of the interstate during the day.
