Prized lineman from DFW commits to Texas Longhorns

Brian Swanson, a 6-foot-5, 315-pound offensive lineman, verbally committed to Texas five days after an official visit to Austin. He was a pillar in the trenches for the Golden Bears as they marched last year to their third UIL 5A Division II title in the past five seasons.
