Police looking for suspect in central Austin stabbing

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man is in the hospital after he was stabbed in central Austin. Austin police say they were called to the scene at 8:01 a.m. Sunday after the man was stabbed at the 6900 block of Bennett Avenue just west of North IH-35 and south of E Koenig Lane.
Austin Emergency Medical Services said the victim- man in his 50’s- was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
