Police impersonator who boarded AISD bus caught

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The man who boarded an AISD bus and claimed to be with the DEA and CIA has been taken into custody. The AISD police chief says the man, John Mikel Humphries, 29, is in the Travis County Jail.
“Many thanks to all the citizens who called in tips leading to identification,” Chief Eric Mendez said in a tweet.
Humphries was seen at Murchison Middle School on Tuesday, taking photos of students as they used the crosswalk.
