Police: Guadalupe Street murder was a ‘targeted’ attack

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man was shot and killed in what police are calling a “targeted” attack in a central Austin parking lot Wednesday evening.
Officers were first called for the report of a disturbance in the front parking lot of AAA Fire & Safety at 6700 Guadalupe St., near Airport Boulevard around 7:48 p.m. When officers arrived at the business, they found Majid Hemmasi, 59, in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds.
