Police: Boyfriend confessed to killing A&M student from Austin

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KXAN) — What started out as an argument between a couple ended with a 21-year-old Texas A&M student shot to death.
College Station police say Victor Manuel Garcia-Loyo, 22, confessed to killing his girlfriend, Maricarmen Quiroz-Octaviano, of Austin, on Sept. 16. Officers were called to the 400 block of Anderson St. after reports that someone had been shot. They searched the apartment and found Quiroz-Octaviano dead.
