Police: Amber Alert suspect connected with Monday homicide arrested

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The suspect in Monday morning's homicide in southeast Austin is believed to be the same suspect involved in an Amber Alert issued Monday afternoon, according to the Austin Police Department.
The suspect was identified as Sherles Gregorio Machado-Hernandez, 31. He was arrested Monday evening in the 900 block of Fairfield Drive, according to the Austin Police Department. That's near Payton Gin Road in north central Austin. He will be booked into the Travis County Jail, police
