Pipe burst cancels classes for Paredes Middle School

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A pipe burst over the weekend has caused Paredes Middle School to cancel its classes on Monday, Sept. 26.
The pipe burst happened on the third floor of the academic building, causing flooding in the building. The flooding damaged multiple classrooms, the basement and administrative spaces.
Restoration crews with Austin ISD began clean up on Sunday to remove the water from the building.
Crews will continue to assess the building Monday and faculty and sta
