Pipe burst cancels classes for 2nd day at Paredes Middle School

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A pipe burst over the weekend has caused Paredes Middle School to cancel its classes on Monday, Sept. 26.
Monday evening, AISD said classes were cancelled for Tuesday as well. All after-school activities are also cancelled.
The pipe burst happened on the third floor of the academic building, causing flooding in the building. The flooding damaged multiple classrooms, the basement and administrative spaces.
