Pilot severely burned, child injured in Taylor plane crash

TAYLOR, Texas (KXAN) — A pilot is recovering in the hospital along with his 7-year-old passenger after they were both seriously injured in a plane crash Saturday morning.
Richard Hornbuckle, 41, was on his way to Taylor from Corpus when the plane ran out of fuel. He was severely burned when the plane crashed on a private road just five miles southwest of Taylor, near their destination, the Taylor Municipal Airport.
