Pedestrian dies in South Austin crash

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police officers are investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian crash in South Austin.
It happened in the 600 block of West St. Elmo Road near South First Street just before 10 p.m. Sunday.
Austin-Travis County EMS tweeted that a man in his 50’s was pronounced dead at the scene. 
The driver of the car stopped after the crash. So far, there is no word on if the driver will face any charges.
