One person in custody after 7-hour SWAT standoff

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police say a disturbance between a man and a woman has led to a SWAT situation at a southeast Austin home. Police say one person was taken into custody at around 10:30 p.m., more than seven hours after the incident started.
The Special Weapons and Tactics team was called to Allison Drive, just west of the intersection of East Oltorf Street and Montopolis Drive, at around 3:19 p.m. Monday.
