North Texas man to face death penalty in wife’s drowning
FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Prosecutors in North Texas say they will seek the death penalty against a man accused of drowning his wife by throwing her off a bridge after tying a rope attached to concrete around her neck.
Court records show the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office filed a notice on Sept. 16 of intent to seek the death penalty against 34-year-Rodolfo Arellano.
Arellano, from Fort Worth, is charged with capital murder in the death of his 28-year-old wife, Elizabeth.
