‘Non-judgmental’ safe ride program started by Texas State student

SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) – A Texas State University student is creating a program he hopes will save lives.
Texas State student Mason McKie says he is in the process of starting a free “safe ride” program that he will offer to all students. The program will offer students who have become too intoxicated at a party an option to contact the group and get a ride home.
