No armed subject was ever found at St. Edward’s University

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Police never found the person who they called an “armed intruder” on the St. Edward’s University campus Tuesday night.
Austin police say the incident started as an aggravated assault with a gun around 8:14 p.m. in the 2700 block of South Congress. The person with the weapon ran towards in the direction of St. Edward’s which is why the university sent out the alert.
