Museums hope Sunday’s crowds beat last year for Austin Museum Day

AUSTIN (KXAN) – It was a good day for a free family outing Sunday as nearly 40 museums across the city offered free admission for Austin Museum Day.
The Austin Museum Partnership has been hosting the event for 20 years in hopes to get more people involved, and learn more about what you might be interested in.
“The idea behind Austin Museum Day is that we offer so many incredible museums around the city but that sometimes the admission fees can get in the way,” said Alex Morriso
