Multiple people stung in Pease Park bee attack

AUSTIN (KXAN) — According to Austin-Travis County EMS, at least five people were attacked by bees at Pease Park.
ATCEMS said they were at the scene near West 24th Street and Parkway just after noon Tuesday. KXAN learned on scene that two of the people were park maintenance workers, two were walking in the park and one is a firefighter.
The pedestrians were transported to St. David’s hospital. One of them may have been allergic to the stings, but the wounds are not expected to be life
