Multi-distance challenge helps raise money for cancer survivors

AUSTIN (KXAN) – Early Sunday morning, bike riders, runners and walkers competed in the 20th annual LIVESTRONG challenge to honor the fight against cancer.
Thousands of riders, some who were cancer survivors gathered from across the country at the Palmer Events Center located at 900 Barton Springs Rd., to help raise money for those whose lives have been affected by cancer.
Riders were able to choose from a 20, 45, 65 or 100 mile bike ride through the Texas Hill Country.
