Motorcyclist killed after falling from US 290 flyover

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday afternoon after crashing and falling off the US 290 westbound flyover onto Koenig Lane.
The woman, who was found dead at the scene, fell around 111 ft., the equivalent of 10-11 stories, police say.
Austin-Travis County EMS says they were called to the crash at 3:15 p.m. No one else was injured in the crash and police believe no other vehicle was involved.
