Motorcyclist critically injured in 25 ft. fall from US 183 in north Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A motorcyclist in his 50s was critically injured Tuesday afternoon in a 20-25 foot fall from US 183 southbound near the Georgian Drive exit.
Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the man, who fell onto the 8400 block of the Research Boulevard service road, at 2:12 p.m.
Medics said initial reports indicated the motorcyclist was in a crash with a vehicle on the upper deck before falling onto the road below. He was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with life-threatening inju
