Motorcyclist collides with school bus in east Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police are investigating a motorcycle crash that happened around 7:20 a.m. Friday in east Austin.
Initial information indicates the motorcyclist struck the side of a school bus on Springdale Road near Lyons Road.
Austin-Travis County EMS says the crash happened near Govalle Elementary School and it does not appear any students were injured in the crash. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
