AUSTIN (KXAN) — Record warm weather is possible Monday afternoon as the forecast high is 79 degrees in Austin, which would tie the 1954 record for December 27th.Very similar conditions will persist through the next few days - morning clouds/patchy fog and afternoon sunshine with unseasonably warm to near-record high temperatures.A weak front will bring subtle changes by Wednesday. The most noticeable change will be a drop in overnight temperatures, with readings returning back to the 50s.
