More rain falls Sunday, but pattern changing quickly

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Numerous rain showers and thunderstorms moved through much of the area Sunday afternoon, dropping as much as 1.5" in the Blanco area.
This unusual July weather pattern is about to change. We have enjoyed much more rain than normal, and lower temperatures on many afternoons, however a more typical summertime ridge of high pressure is about to return us to a dry and very hot weather pattern.
