Mark Norwood’s 2nd capital murder trial begins

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Opening statements began Tuesday in the trial for the man accused of the 1988 murder of Debra Masters Baker.
Mark Alan Norwood, 62, appeared in normal dress Tuesday before a full courtroom. Norwood entered a formal not guilty plea.
A jury was selected Monday afternoon. The jury is comprised of 12 jurors and only one alternate.
