Man stabbed near East Austin park

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man is in the hospital after being stabbed at a nearby park in East Austin Saturday afternoon.
It happened at around 12:23 p.m. at Givens Recreational Center on East 12th Street.
The man told police he was stabbed when he was at the park and he drove away from the area. Police say they found the injured man a few streets away from the park on Poquito Street.
