Man stabbed in east Austin dies from his injuries

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man who was stabbed in east Austin Friday evening has died from his injuries. While police do not have a suspect in custody, they say there is not a threat to the public.
A 911 call at 7:53 p.m. brought officers to the bus stop at Seventh and Comal Street. Austin-Travis County EMS medics performed CPR on the man as they took him to University Medical Center Brackenridge, where he was pronounced dead.
