Man stabbed earlier this month dies from his injuries

AUSTIN (KXAN) — An Austin man who was stabbed during a domestic violence issue a few weeks ago died from his injuries Saturday, according to the Travis County Medical Examiner.
Dena Trybendis told KXAN News that her son, Brandon Trybendis, 17, was only trying to protect her when he stabbed her ex-boyfriend, Felipe Acosta III, Friday, Oct. 14 at their home in the 6100 block of Smith Oak Trail in southwest Austin.
