Man stabbed 17 times during southeast Austin brawl

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being stabbed 17 times in an attack at an apartment complex Sunday night in southeast Austin.
Austin police say they were called to the Fairway Village Apartments just before 9 p.m. in the 6000 block of Fairway Street just west of Montopolis Drive and north of Riverside Drive.
