Man severely burned in south Austin house fire dies

AUSTIN (KXAN ) — A man who suffered burns when a fire broke out at a home in South Austin Monday died from his injuries a day later.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s said the man, reported to be in his 50s, died on Tuesday after he was transported to the burn unit at San Antonio Military Medical Center. His identity has not been released at this time.
Firefighters were originally called to the home on the 10100 block of Slaughter Creek Drive at 3:15 p.m. When firefighters arr
