Man seriously injured after being shot in central Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man was seriously wounded after being shot near the intersection of North Lamar Boulevard and Airport Boulevard in central Austin on Wednesday.
Austin police officers responding to a shots fired call were sent to an apartment building at 6408 Burns St. around 4:49 p.m.
Medics with Austin-Travis County EMS took the adult male to Dell Seton Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
