Man killed in Northeast Austin homicide identified

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man found dead with gunshot wounds in a vehicle on Saturday has been identified as Alexander Macias-Garcia, 20.
Around 3:16 a.m. on Oct. 15 police were called to Wells Branch Parkway, just south of Heatherwilde Boulevard after reports of a possible crash. Arriving officers found the passenger of the car lying on the ground with non-life threatening injuries. The driver, Macias-Garcia, was pronounced dead at the scene with visible gunshot wounds.
Austin police say the
