Man killed in Central Austin crash

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police are investigating a crash that killed a man on Koenig Lane and Woodrow Avenue.
A private company was picking up trash in the area just east of Burnet. Another car hit the trash vehicle killing the driver at the scene around 3:19 a.m.
Koenig Lane is closed from Grover Avenue to Woodrow Avenue at this time. Police say they will reopen the road soon.
