Man injured in Northeast Austin shooting

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two people are recovering in the hospital after an overnight shooting in Northeast Austin.
A man was left with a potentially life-threatening injury after the shooting, according to Austin/Travis County EMS. Arriving medics also found a woman who overdosed on an unknown substance.
Both of the people were at the 7400 block of Cameron Road and taken to the University Medical Center Brackenridge Hospital.
