Man in his 40s hit and killed walking on Interstate 35

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man in his 40s died Monday evening after being hit by a driver on Interstate 35 in between Airport Boulevard and 51st Street.
Austin-Travis County EMS, whose medics were called to the scene at 7:43 p.m., said drivers should expect heavy delays and road closures in the area.
The crash happened in the 4700 block of North I-35 in the southbound lanes. Officers spoke to witnesses who said the pedestrian was passing from the east side of I-35 crossing westbound when the man wa
