Man hit, injured by car on I-35

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man is in the hospital with potentially serious injuries after a crash on Interstate 35.
The man, estimated to be in his 20s, was hit getting out of his truck around 2:35 a.m. The collision was on the 3300 N I-35 upper deck, according to Austin police.
There were two other people injured in the crash. One was transported to St.David’s Hospital and the other refused treatment.
The upper deck was closed for two hours following the crash, but has now reopened.
